We accept full and part-time volunteers and paid guests. A volunteer works 25 hours per week and is provided a living space, but must buy and prepare their own food in the community kitchen. The living space for a paid guest costs $300 per month, or $400 per month for our largest platform — which also happens to have the best view and most privacy. Part-time volunteers can work half as many hours and pay half as much for their platform of choice, depending on what's available. Guests can pay a quarter or half the monthly fee if they only stay for one or two weeks.
As for volunteers, we ask that they commit to at least one month, but thus far are not requiring this request be met. Guests must pay up front upon arrival for their anticipated length of stay. All of our platforms will, in the near future, be enclosed by partial walls and mosquito netting and they will have a mattress and a no-see-um proof mosquito net over the beds.
